Suggestions for History Museum near New Orleans

AYHJA • April 22, 2017Life changing! I live in Washington DC and have been to the Smithsonian lots of times. That said, this museum met and exceeded my expectations. It's worth its own trip to New Orleans.

HISTORY • April 5, 2010Opened in 1838, The New Orleans Mint is currently the oldest surviving structure to have served as a U.S. Mint. Since 1981 it has served as a branch of the Louisiana State Museum.
